Built for short films and run-and-gun

Zoom H6e recorder at the centre: six channels, simultaneous boom and wireless, no compromises on gain structure. Dialled once before we roll.

Boom: Deity S-Mic 3S x2 — short shotgun, low self-noise, handles location wind cleanly on the end of a carbon pole.

Wireless: Sennheiser G4 lav set x2 — rock-solid RF, diversity receivers, used for dialog on short movies and single-operator ENG.

On-camera: Rode Wireless GO Plus Pro — compact, reliable scratch track and run-and-gun coverage when a boom op isn't on the call sheet.

Anamorphic flares are a choice, not an accident

Lumix S5IIx: phase-detect AF, 6K open gate, 4:2:2 10-bit internal. The sensor that disappears on set and delivers in post.

Anamorphic glass: 1.33x adapter for the characteristic oval bokeh and horizontal flare — shaped in prep, not corrected in post.

DIT workflow runs live on set: LUT monitoring, exposure checks, and card offload with verification before the unit wraps.
